Remarks: Originally described as Didymocladon sexangularis.
From the Schwemm in Austria two forms were collected. A large 6- and 7-radiate form, indicated below as forma A, and a smaller 5-radiate form, indicated below as forma B, with more flattened cells and the two whorls of processes more fused together at their basis.
